DeLand Police are seeking assistance in identifying two individuals who were trying to break into cars earlier this week.

Police were dispatched to the 400 block of North Boston Avenue after two males were caught on surveillance footage going to several different vehicles at an apartment complex to see if any of them were unlocked. The incident is believed to have happened around 3 a.m. Monday.

We'd also like to remind our residents to make sure to your lock your vehicles every night and keep valuables out of sight or take them inside.
