The goal of our CrimeWatch program is to keep you informed of current events in our City and to educate you about our department and the law enforcement services we provide.  Our overriding purpose for providing you this information is to solicit your help to fight crime and keep our community safe.

The mission of the DeLand Police Department is to provide professional police services to citizens and visitors of our city.  At all times, the members of the DeLand Police Department shall epitomize the core values of our agency: duty, honor, courage, integrity, caring, respect and loyalty.  We will at all times strive to provide service in the spirit of our City crest which reads: “Faith, Hope & Charity”.
