Spay and Neuter Reimbursement Program

Resolution 2018-89 of the City of DeLand authorizes individual residents or organizations to receive reimbursement for the actual cost of spaying or neutering up to twenty feral cats per fiscal year. The amount of such reimbursement shall be the lesser of the actual cost incurred by the cat caregiver to spay or neuter the cats or $66.00 per male cat and $105.00 per female cat. Only cats which were trapped or picked up within the corporate limits of the City of DeLand are eligible. Cats must also be vaccinated against rabies and have had their ear tipped to indicate sterilization. Any requests received after 4:30pm on September 30, 2022 will not be reimbursed.

In order to be reimbursed, the Request for Reimbursement for Spayed or Neutered Cats form must be completed and returned to:
