PAL partners with DeLand Boxing and Fitness for fundraising event
The DeLand PAL organization partnered with DeLand Boxing and Fitness to host a successful fundraising boxing event Saturday, March 4th.
More than 200 people filled the DeLand YMCA to support fighters from DeLand, Port Orange, Daytona and even as far as Miami.
DeLand Police Department own Sgt. Tony Tagle boxed an exhibition match during the event. Part of the proceeds from the event will go to support the DeLand PAL organization and its efforts in the community.
DPD would like to thank the DeLand Fire Department for providing EMT personnel for the event.

DeLand Police Athletic League (DPAL) is a local non-profit program in partnership with the DeLand Police Department. Our goal is to give the youth of greater DeLand area something different and unique to expand their interest.
