The DeLand Police Department would like to congratulate K-9 Zoie and her handler, Officer Dylan Scott, who took second place in the “Drug Detection” category at the 2024 Southern Coast Explosive and Drug Detection K9 Seminar. 

The annual seminar was hosted by Southern Coast K9 and the Brevard County Sheriff's Office. K9 Zoie also earned her annual certification from the National Narcotic Detector Dog Association.

The seminar provided a valuable opportunity for our K-9 unit to demonstrate their proficiency in drug detection, further strengthening their ability to support our department's ongoing efforts to maintain public safety.
