
Impacts to East Central Florida from Hurricane Ian will begin as early as tonight (Tuesday), with flooding rain, tropical storm force winds & tornados as the main threats.

The City of DeLand's self-service sandbag station will be operational beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday and will remain open while supplies last and as conditions allow in the Melching Field parking lot at the corner of East Hubbard Avenue and South Woodland Boulevard. Sand and bags will be on-site as well as limited shovels. Sandbags will be limited to DeLand residents only, so please bring your ID. There will be a limit of 10 bags per household.
