Tis the Season for Holiday Safety. Please keep safety in mind while you are out and about and when you are absent from your home.

 Want to avoid a Grinch sneaking up and stealing your holiday packages? Here are some safety Tips:

• Do not leave packages in plain view in your vehicle. Secure them in the trunk of your vehicles if at all possible. Make sure you secure your vehicles.

• Do not leave boxes on the curb making you a target for thieves who would then know what is inside of your house.

• Take boxes to a recycling drop- off location if possible.

• Get a box cutter and cut boxes up so that they fit in your regular trash receptacles.

• Don’t leave your new gifts visible through the windows of your home.

• Make sure you leave lights on when you leave your house at night, even if it’s just for a few minutes.

• Watch out for your neighbors and report any suspicious activity. • Have packages delivered to a trusted family member or a friend’s address instead of your own if possible.

• Do not post your travel plans on social media accounts.
