Residents of the northeast area of DeLand are cautioned to make certain vehicles are locked and secured.  A recent uptick in car burglaries has been noticed and we recommend that any items of value not be left in vehicles.  Be mindful of your residential security, if you have security video-please make sure it is positioned correctly and working.  If a burglary has occurred in your area and you were able to capture any valuable video footage, please contact us and help to keep our city safe and secure!
