DeLand Police Department Vehicle Burglaries - South-East DeLand

The DeLand Police Department  is seeking the public's help to help reduce vehicle burglaries that have occurred the last several weeks in the south east area of the city. Vehicle burglaries have been reported in the following areas, Saddlebrook and Victoria Hills and Commons Subdivisions. Typically the suspects are finding unlocked vehicles, and stealing personal items left in plain view such as electronics, purses, back packs, wallets and loose change. In one case, keys to the vehicle were left inside and the vehicle was stolen and recovered several days later in another county south of DeLand. 

The DeLand Police Department is asking for your help to help prevent and reduce vehicle burglaries. Remember to remove valuable items. Lock your vehicle.
