DeLand PAL launches new Youth Archery program

The DeLand PAL organization successfully launched its new Youth Archery program Thursday night.
Coach Willie Johnson was joined by DeLand Police Department Sgt. Tagle and Sgt. Santos to ensure it was a fun and safe experience for the kids.
Archery is one of the fastest growing recreational sports in the United States. The goal of DeLand PAL is to introduce kids to unique sports and skillsets.
ABOUT PAL
DPAL is a unique, non-profit joint venture between the DeLand Police Department and the Greater DeLand area community. We provide young people with positive role models, help them build self-esteem and give them a safe place for activities.
