Citizens Police Academy Alumni recognized by DPD

The DeLand Police Department recognized volunteers with the Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association for their efforts in assisting our agency. 

Wednesday, April 19th, Chief Umberger and Captain Dice presented a Letter of Commendation to several volunteers in recognition of their contributions to the 2022 Operation Cheer event. 

Because of their effort, 450 families in need received toys for their children.
