In Custody - Residential Burglary Suspect

UPDATE: Travis Ivey (DOB: 09/30/70) has been identified and arrested in connection to the residential burglary on West Minnesota Avenue. Ivey has been charged with Felony Burglary of a Dwelling, and is being held at the Volusia County Branch Jail on $15,000 bond. 


The DeLand Police Department is attempting to identify and locate a suspect in connection to a residential burglary that occurred in the early morning hours of June 20th, 2022. Officers responded on June 20th to the home on West Minnesota Avenue after the homeowner was alerted by an indoor security camera that an unknown person had made entry. The pictured male is believed to have stolen several jewelry items from the home while the homeowner was out of town. 

The male is believed to be light-skinned with short shaved hair. The security camera footage shows him wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans. If you may know who this male is or his whereabouts, please contact Detective Miller at or by calling 386-943-8276.
