Adelle Avenue Shooting

Last night at approximately 2:35 am, officers responded to 508 South Adelle Avenue in reference to a person shot. The victim, a 21-year-old male, was outside of the location when he was shot by an unknown person traveling in a vehicle. The victim was shot in the lower leg and transported by VCEMS to HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital (formerly Central Florida Regional Hospital). The victim's injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening. 

Detectives from the DeLand Police Department Criminal Investigation Division responded to the scene and are actively investigating this incident.
