Officer conducted a traffic stop after watching a vehicle back up at an intersection. Upon approach, Officer detected a strong odor of marijuana. When asking both driver and passenger to exit the vehicle, the passenger refused. Therefore subject was assisted out of the vehicle and placed under...
While Officer was preforming regular patrol, passed a vehicle being driving by a subject that was known to have an open warrant out of Volusia County. After the traffic stop and notification of the warrant, subject refused to leave the vehicle without officer assistance.
Vehicle was observed swerving on the roadway. During the traffic stop, Officers discovered the subject was in possession of marijuana, paraphernalia and was driving on a suspended/revoked/canceled license.
Suspect attempted to obtain a Waverunner Jet Ski from DeLand Motorsports using a fictitious name and ID. The dealer had been notified of the ID theft and called Police. The suspect, along with co-conspirator Torres, were both arrested.
The subject was causing a disturbance at Sunflower Park. The subject approached the victim and placed his hands around the victims throat. Subject was arrested and later became violent in the rear of the Police Car when attempting to restrain him.
