DPD gears up for Juneteenth softball game and festival

The DeLand Police Department is pleased to be a part of the upcoming 2023 Juneteenth festival including a friendly softball game with the Volusia Sheriff’s Office.

DPD officers and VSO deputies will participate in a matchup alongside other community members such as Man up Mentoring and Sisters Build Network for Girls, Inc. and others. 

The third annual festival will take place at Earl Brown Park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday June 17th. The day will be filled with entertainment, food, vendors and more.
