Attempt to Locate Terrell Maddox

The DeLand Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating 20-year-old Terrell J. Maddox. Maddox has an active warrant for his arrest on several charges including first-degree murder, carjacking, and burglary with assault or battery.

Maddox will be the fourth to be charged with first-degree murder in connection to an attempted carjacking that occurred May 22 outside Florida Technical College, 1199 South Woodland Boulevard, where a man was shot and later died of his injuries. John Torres, 22, Isaiah Thomas, 21, and Nassan Bacon, 22, are already in custody. 

Maddox’s last known address is in New Smyrna Beach, but he is known to frequent the Daytona Beach area. He is described as being a black male with black hair and brown eyes and stands about 5 feet 9 inches tall. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
