On 03/21/19 officer's observed a motorcycle run a stop sign at the intersection of W Georgia and S Pine St. Officers activated the emergency lights on their marked patrol vehicle to make a traffic stop on the motorcycle. When the motorcycle came to a stop and the driver got off the motorcycle an object fell from his person onto the floor board and officers also noticed a pocket knife protruding from subjects right pants pocket. Officers conducted a pat down and located the knife and collected the item that had fallen to the floor board of the motorcycle. Inside the item narcotics were located. The subject was placed into handcuffs and transported to Volusia County Branch Jail.
