On May 31st 2018 at approx. 8:48 pm officers pulled over a vehicle after observing the vehicle committing a traffic infraction at the 1600 Block of N Woodland. When officers approached the defendant to ask for a drivers license he stated he did not have one. It was confirmed through dispatch that the defendant's drivers license had been suspended for driving under the influence back in 2001 and failure to pay traffic fines in 2012. The defendant was placed in handcuffs and transported to Volusia County Branch Jail with out incident.
