On March 1st , 2019 at around 11:41 pm, Deland Police Officers made a routine traffic stop on the suspect because he had clipped the curb when he was turning. When the officers made contact with the suspect he did not seem very coherent when they tried to explain while he was stopped. Officers noticed a white powdery substance of the suspects lap and center consul. The suspect was asked to exit the vehicle and when he did several white rocks fell from his lap onto the ground with a folder one dollar bill. The substances were tested and came back as being cocaine. A records check also confirmed that the suspect was driving on a suspended license. The suspect was placed under arrest and transported to the Volusia County Branch Jail with out incident and was also issued 2 traffic citations.
