Law Enforcement officers were dispatched to a vehicle crash. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a male subject that was trying to walk away from the crash. During that time, officers could smell some kind of alcoholic beverage on him. Once they finally got him to take a seat, officers could take more notice of his appearance. When the crash report was completed, the male was asked to partake in a field sobriety test, which he refused. He was then transported to the DeLand Police Department holding area for officers to preform the breath testing. He submitted to one, but refused all other testing. He was then transported to the Volusia County Jail.
