On September 26th, 2018 at around 4:00 pm Deland Police Officers made a routine traffic stop for the driver not wearing a seat belt. The suspect who was a passenger in the vehicle was arrested due to officers finding several different narcotics including methamphetamines, Ambien, Cannabis, and Heroin along with multiple miscellaneous pills in a backpack on the passenger side of the vehicle where the suspect was sitting. The suspect was removed from vehicle and placed in handcuffs double locked and checked for tightness. She was then transported to the Volusia County Jail without incident. The Suspect is being charged with 9 Felony Narcotics Offenses.
