On 03/06/2021 officer responded to the area of 100-Blk of N Woodland Blvd in reference to a fight. When officers made contact with the reporting party, they were informed that the reporting party was injured due to another subject kicking him in the leg. Officers made contact with other individuals that were present at the time the incident occurred and were able to confirm the chain of events that led up to the battery. Officers made contact with the subject that inflicted the battery. The subject was placed in handcuffs that were checked for proper fit. Officers placed the subject into a marked patrol vehicle and transported to the Volusia County Branch Jail without further incident.
