On August 13th, 2019 at around 11:30 am, A Deland Officer made a routine traffic stop on a vehicle that was driving recklessly. When the officer made contact with the driver she informed him that she did not have a valid drivers license. The officer asked the driver permission to search the vehicle in which she agreed to. During the search of the vehicle, located in a makeup bag was narcotic paraphernalia and a crystal like substance that tested positive for methamphetamine. The driver was placed in handcuffs which were double locked checked for tightness and transported to the Volusia County Branch Jail with out incident.
