While officer was on patrol he noticed a subject sitting outside a residence that possibly had a warrant for his arrest. Once contact was made and verification completed; the warrant was confirmed. Subject was taken into custody without incident.
While officers were on another call, it was discovered that one of the persons involved had violated his probation. Subject was taken into custody and transported to Volusia County Branch Jail.
On 11/10/2017 Probation Officers contacted police. Police made contact with the defendant who had a open warrant for Violation of Probation. The defendant was arrested.
